Z-tube and K&N

 

We have seen really good results with the 350Z Air Intake Tube, Crawford Plenum and the Jim Wolf POP Charger or the Nismo Cold Air Intake. I have the the combo on my coupe and it really frees things up and sounds great and picks up between 15-20 hp in the higher rpm ranges.

 

I'm waiting to see results from the Gruppe-M. A member on g35 driver just got one.

 

Nobody knows the VQ better than NISMO. Remeber who developed the GTR!

 

Nismo CAI is just a rebadged AEM.

 

Perhaps but it has a water diverter and a great looking NISMO emblem on it. Looks nice under the hood.

 

How about i put a nismo sticker on the AEM and save some bucks?

 

The AEM is about $215.00 and has no water diverter. The Injen is about $250.00. The NISMO is $279.00 and has a water diverter.

 

The Injen sounds awesome and I think is worth the money. Looks nice too.

 

this was dyno proven last week.. the z tube got the most gains.. the full intake actually lost power over stock airbox

 

Yes thats what Ive heard...I got the Z tube coming..and I have a Stillen cold air box with a KN .I think the stock or stillen box with the Z tube will come out to be the best air flow. Just put on the Crawford plenum today...headers came today and going to put them on in the next few days

 

My 1st gen Injen shows 5hp gain (w g-tech) and 0.1 sec faster 1/8mi times compared to the Z-tube. This is with a plenum and larger KN filter on the CAI though.
