My civic got hit on the rear quarter panel and it took about a week and a half. They had cut and weld etc... etc... But good thing the other guy's insurance took care of it.
but, i was thinking do i have to trust the autobodyshop? They tell me they can fix it and it will look like perfect. no one can see anything! It's that true? That is my first got hit. I have no idea what i have to do.
What you could do is have them fix it and don't paint it until you see it. Or have them fix it without paint. Then have a good body shop blend it in. Pretty expensive both ways.
Welcome to the club. My sedan got hit by somebody backing up in a parking lot. He/She left!! The rear quarter panel had to be repainted. The car was 1 month old with 1,500 miles. Sorry to hear about that!
I will drop off my car on monday for fix.
Hope they can do a good job.
Also the good thing is the dealership will borrow to me a g35 sedan to drive. Man! I have to say Ray Catena is the best Infiniti Dealership in the world.
