I have the coupe mid pipe, but there is a straight pipe welded in where the resonator is. If you want it that way, let me know!

Default I think I have what you're looking for...

Are you referring to the Y-Pipe? Is the mid pipe the connection between the muffler and the cats? If so, give me a couple of weeks. I just purchased the JIC Y-Pipe. It should be delivered with in a few weeks. If this is the piece you are looking for, I'll hook you up with a pretty fair deal. I'll even have the box that the JIC Y-Pipe comes in to use for shipping.

Instant Message Neffster on Fresh Alloy if you're interested.

Default HELP

Anyone care to "enlighten" me as to what EXACTLY the midpipe is. I might have one I can sell, and I might not . If I sold it, I wouldn't be looking to get rich...

It's the pipe that connects the Y-Pipe to the actual muffler. The one on the coupe has a much smaller resonator than the one on the sedan, helping to create the more aggressive sound of the coupe - hence the demand from sedan owners.

Sedan owners can also just get a Magnaflow resonator welded in. The cost is usually around $100.

Altihaulic

Thank you. I guess I will not have one of these to sell just yet. If I bought the Fujitsubo Exhaust would I replace this piece?

Anyone care to take a stab?

Yes you will. The Fujitsubo exhaust replaces the midpipe and the muffler section. I used to have a Fujitsubo exhaust, but sold it because I didn't like how the tips look. I now have the HKS Legamax system. It doesn't sound as great but I like the gains and looks.
