Default Bump Stops

Hey,
I put the S-tech's on my Coupe last week. I read the instructions that said that I had to take an inch off the front bump stop, but didn't see one when I was doing the work.
I was driving it the other day and sure enough the suspension bottomed out on a bump.
There was a rubber boot around the shock that had a thick solid section at the top. I'm guessing that that is the bump stop, but I'm not sure.
Is this the part that you trimmed, or is the bump stop somewhere else?

Thanks

I have the S-Techs on my coupe also but my dealer did the install so I'm not sure if they trimmed it or not. That piece your describing is the bump stop

Thanks,
I thought that was the case. Guess I'll have to bust out the spring compressor and take it apart again this weekend. Hopefully, it'll be easier the second time!

Did you lower with the Teins for the G or the Z? The drop doesn't seem that much so I'm guessing you put Z springs on?

Notice how the photos are 100% the same. Notice how he sold the same car he now owns...
