Anyone know anything else about this? Was considering trading in my '01 I30 for a '04 sedan, but now I might wait a little.

 

Yea that has been out for awhile, it still none the less a speculation so it's not official or anything yet.

 

possibly a carryover to the Z as well?

 

I'm really curious as to where they're going to squeeze out another 20hp without "breaking the bank".

 

well for the sedan it should be easy...bring it to the level of tune as the coupe and it'll have 280hp. as far as the coupe...I dunno. Maybe a more aggressive intake and exhaust along with some upgrades to the ecu?

because infiniti wants to keep their resale value high on the sedan and coupe...expect to see a 1000-1500 dollar price increase as well.

 

i wouldn't mind paying a grand or so if the car gets bumped up to 300hp, interior change, AUTO SEATS!

upgrade hvac head unit/radio/info center (integrated together)

upgrade TPS into said head unit

proj. beam headlamps

8-way power adj seats (both fronts) (climate control)

rev. cam option

ingress/egress assist optioned into some package (prem.)

I think they want to increase the HP because the new TL has got a HP increase and is up to 270. Close competition if you ask me.

Do the 05's come in Dec. or earlier? I just want my G35 now! I don't know if I can wait any longer!

I believe generally the first allotments of next year's version is available in Sept.

 

What's your source? I need projector beam headlamps. I want the rev. cam option. I like the power front seats. I hope you are right, reassure me.

 

any additional power will be done to offset the added weight, keeping the g35 still a tick under the Z350.....

imn not sure what/if any changes the Z will see, although it could stand to have some interior refreshing/ QC.....

no other reassurances, yet...........

 

I spoke with the rep for Colorado when he was here on Friday, and he said the the cars will be ordered in June or July and will arrive in August or September. I am waiting for the 05 just because I want to order my car, and if I did it now, as opposed to a couple of months from now, I would get an 04 instead of an 05. I hope that they do improve the interior plastics a bit; that is the only possible complaint I can see in this car.
