Default CF G35 engine cover *group buy*

UnlimitedTuning has just released their CF engine cover for the G35, and is offering a special introductory price on this limited piece. Its full hand layed carbon fiber. Price will be $150.00 which is a great price for a carbon fiber piece of this size and quality. http://images.auctionworks.com/hi/60...sc00001_wm.jpg sign up here

I believe thats an overlay, basically its like a sticker over the stock cover. A real carbon fiber cover would cost a few hundred minimum and weigh just about nothing. Isn't the point of carbon fiber to lose weight, not add to it?

if it's an overlay, can't you just buy the CF stickers and put them on?

no, you cant just put a CF 'sticker' on it because it's not an overlay, its a molded carbon fiber engine cover.

I'm interested in a CF cover but something more the size of the 350Z cover, does anyone know if that would work on our G's? The cover looks cool but I don't want it covering the plenum.

The 350Z carbon fiber engine cover fits perfectly. It really cleans up the engine bay and shows off the plenum. I really prefer it over the G35 cover which takes up almost the whole engine bay. It also looks much nicer with a 350Z tube or CAI.

Sorry for the thread hijack. There is a 350Z cover group buy going on right now in the "Private Group Buys" section, but I don't know how reliable or fast you will get your cover. I got mine for about $100 shipped off Ebay from Red Dog Motorsports. As far as I know there is one major supplier so most of the covers are exactly the same.
