19" Gunmetal TE37's on DG coupe (PICS)
Thanks to shaneotool of this board who gave me a great deal on his wheels. Not exactly an original combination but I feel it works very well. Wheels are 8.5"/9.5" wide +22 offset all around. The weight savings on these vs the stock 18's was very obvious although I didn't weigh them. The car is dropped on Tein H-Tech springs. I feel it would look better a little lower with the 19's so coilovers will be my next big purchase.

No alignment problems although my front camber is right at the edge of factory recommendations at -1.1. My tires that I pulled off on the stock rims did have extra wear on the inside edges.
The ride is a little stiffer over rough surfaces but its not that much different from the stock 18's. Its hard to judge performance increase from wheels alone because I installed Hotchkis sways at the same time. The 245/35 and 275/35 Toyos together with the sways is a huge improvement over stock handling and grip.

wow, the colors in that last picture look SICK! I love TE-37's, but I don't think I could have them as my only set of wheels... just a little boring imo... but they are light and give off a nice JDM look, so they are definitely a keeper!

Thanks for all the feedback everyone. Thats what great about aftermarket wheels, they can totally change the look of the car depending on what you want. I agree its not for everyone and is somewhat subtle, but I am very happy with the way it came out.
tig488 - I think I have seen every pic you have ever posted. I wanted to see what they would look like and your car was a very good indication - sweet ride you got there.
Annual - I would but I live in Tucson and don't make it up that way too often. We are trying to set up an Arizona meet for either Oct 16 or 23. I will keep you posted if your interested in attending.
