G35 less problematic than 350Z ??
03.5 G35S owned since March 03. Took delivery with 23 miles on the odo, car now has 47745. Problem areas seat rock, CD changer/Bose woofer, and brake rotor issue (no problem since replacement) that's about it. May seem like a lot but I have experienced for worse, with VW especially VW!, BMW and now the wifes Mercedes. I would basically have to say the G has been one of the most reliable cars I have owned.
Let's deal with the facts. The G35 will ride better because it has
a longer wheelbase.Infiniti has better service and you get a free
loaner car when your car is being repaired. Also obviously the G35
has a back seat.In terms of acceleration, there is no difference
in the 350z and G35.I have one test of a 6mt G35 that actually
ran faster to 60 than the 350z.(CarandDriver).The interior is
a little more upscale on the Infiniti and the warranty is also longer
on the Infiniti.I bought a new 04 G35 coupe Gmt and I LOVE it!
But I needed the back seat for the kids.Either way you can't go
wrong.I also prefer the look of the G35.The back tail lights look
better to me.They are both great cars.
