Default Valve body upgrade

There has been a lot of discussions regarding Stillen's valve body upgrade. Well, I had the valve body installed since last week and drove it back to Las Vegas from Orange County. There is a definitely a noticeable difference in the transmission shifting quicker. The most noticeable difference is when you are shifting in the manual mode, normally there is a lag time when you shift gears but with the vavle body upgrade, shift time is so much quicker. Also, I notice when you are driving in the normal mode and accelerate hard, it will rev close to redline before shifting into the next gear. Anyways, I am very happy with the valve body upgrade.

Probably the best a/t mod for quicker shifts at a more desired rpm, as well as tranny longevity. Good choice.

I totally agree, just had my value body rebuilt 3 weeks ago and major improvement.
Did stillen do your value body? I sent my 2003 G35 value body to them and after a week sitting at stillens shop they called and stated they could not rebuild certain value bodys????
Anyway, we then shipped it to Level 10, they did a great job and returned the rebuilt body faster than stillen even notified me they could not do the work.

Yes, it is a Stillen valve body which was installed by their shop in Costa Mesa, CA. For anyone who has an A/T, they should seriously consider getting a valve body upgrade whether it is through Stillen or Level 10.

Not aware of what shops can do the install. However, check with a qualified mechanic. The cost of the valve body with Stillen was approximately $800, excluding installation cost.
