Question 6speed or Auto?

Hi Everyone!
Well I'm looking to purchase a G35 coupe and had some questions about them...

Which do you prefer? Auto or 6 speed
Are there any major performance differences?
I guess what are the pros and cons of the 2?
Has anyone had any problems with them yet?

In the future I'd like to go with forced induction...
Supercharger or TT Kit?

That's all for right now!

I am thinking about this too. I will be buying a G35 soon and I am looking at either a 6 MT 2004 or an Auto 2005.

I'd prefer to get the 6 MT but...I keep hearing all the stories of people who had problems

i haven't had any problems with mine and if you do it's still under warranty.

Having a car under warranty doesn't mean they will fix it.

Mind if I ask how fast your Stillen powered AT is propelling you down the track?

All that stuff you have..must be mind boggling quick

I had a 03 Cobra at 460 rwhp - 6 sp - and liked it ...

BUT what I would suggest you do - drive a G with the manual and the AT .... they are like two different cars ..... after driving both - I would be you will know what you want ......

Personally - I have an AT - ---

Best of luck to you!!!

If you are doing FI, I would suggest 5AT. I liked the 5AT and MM for day to day driving before I added the TT, but since I love my 5AT. Great launches, consistent starts, plus easy to drive in traffic.
Either one you will love.
