I believe you are correct. The first batch was having issues, but these are supposely the new ones that we waited 6+ months for. Even if you take off the side pillar, I still see a fitment issue.

I have gotten several emails now and most are the fact that the pod fits.

They did send the wrong size screws. You need about 3" screws to make it a perfect fit.

We test fitted many and GRUBBS INFINITI and yielded 5 for 5 on tests

just wanted to let 350zforums and the rest of the guys that spent the money and waited 8 months for this to know:

i have infront of me 6 different size screws (all the same thread and width of the ones supplied)

none will fit or come close to fitting the effing threaded hole in the aluminum pillar, why you say? because the effing holes on the effing pillar pod are off and are the wrong width;

the only way i can make this work is to tap another part of the metal frame and try to screw it in there

**** that;

i don't know how the grubbs guys made it fit, i don't know what the **** "most are the fact that the pod fits." means

all i know is that the pod does not fit my car; i'm not a mechanic but i have installed far more complicated thing on my car than a effing pillar pod (do i seem pissed off?)

bottom line;

it's 11pm, i'm not making any more trips to the hardware store; i have to leave at 6 am to go to the mossy show and ltl grand opening; and your effing pillar pod will be held on by some effing duct tape

i will definately advertise on the pod where i got it from, it's the least i can do

was it worth the wait since april? it wasn't worth the wait since yesterday
