I was following this for a long time and I ended up getting my money back because they went way beyond their quoted timeframe. Basically, I called them back in September and they said that they would have it ready to release in October. Well now they said they have two more prototypes but it won't be ready until December. If I were you, I would forget about this for a year and if you are lucky, you will eventually hear something about it. Until then, don't hold your breath!

Which plenum are you referring to? They are releasing a Aluminum plenum that fits under the stock strut bar and virtually any aftermarket strut bar, and uses the stock engine cover. When, I don't know. I imagine it will look something like their plastic plenum as far as the design.

there was a thread a couple of months ago with pics, and it was sick. it fits under the strut bar and works with stock engine cover, but didnt look anything like any other plenum ive seen. i'll see if i can dig up the pics.

You can't use your stock strut bar or engine cover with the APS Tallboy Plenum, they are supposed to offer a strut bar similar to Crawford's. Maybe Unlimited Tuning will come up with a stock style plenum that produces gains, fits under most strut bars and uses the stock engine cover.

sorry for the lack of communication guys.
We have been focused on this manifold for about 4 months now.
We went through 4 different designs, but there is good news.
We have finally gotten the design and numbers we were looking for, so now the design has been finalized, we are simply lining up production.
As it stands with our prototype we have seen very good numbers, about a solid 6 hp peak gain, with gains as high as 12 hp in the 6000+ range.
Keep in mind however that this is NOT a plenum!! it is a complete tubular manifold. It replaces both upper and lower factory plenums.
It looks completely different than our plastic plenum.
This manifold is designed for high RPM in NA applications, and will work very well with FI applications. We believe we have a much more efficient design than factory, especially for FI with slightly larger and shorter runners. With FI expect boost slightly sooner, increased throttle response, and solid gains when tuned properly.
I will be posting pics this week, so look for a fresh post.
We are sending it out to a test subject in the very near future for testing with supercharger.
Once again I apologize for leaving people hanging, it definately was not as easy as originally thought to make gains, but we are very happy with the design and when you see pics I think most will agree it will also set their engine bay apart from the rest cosmetically as well.
Also, yes it will fit under the factory strut bar, but we are currently having problems clearing the engine cover without modifcations. the engine cover currently will fit no problem, with a small amount of trimming (much like seen with the crawford plenum) but more than likely will not fit in factory form
