Default Then all this talk about

the ECU adjusting to cancel out the gains by the mods must be unfounded ...correct?

adding mods must make a difference to performance regardless if every car responds differently.

I have heard some say the 03 ECU's are the easiest to reflash.

Guess I need to do some more research

it depends..the stock ecu can and does adjust the changing conditions...the flash "dumbs" this learning down a bit but it is there to a certain extent.

The idea with the flash is to make the changes in such a way so that the ecu thinks its running stock parts, when in fact it's not. It takes considerable time to get a flash "just right", and that's why it's advisable to have it done on your car
