My b-pipe was supposed to show up late last week or early this week. Haven't seen it yet...but my CC was charged, so I'm hoping it's on the way. With any luck it'll show up today.

I'll take the pics and stuff as soon as I get it.

I can't wait to get under my car again, because I have some rattling going on from the y-pipe...need to check the bolts.

Well, as luck would have it, it did show up yesterday and I threw it on the car.

It's a very nice piece and it's different than stock...and will give you a deeper sound than the stock one as well.

My biggest problem that I ran into was finding a gasket that would fit. It didn't come with any and the local auto parts stores didn't have much in stock. Best to track one down ahead of time.

I can take pictures if people want, but there's not much to really see.

Any word, West?
Also, per Dr Volkl's post, shouldn't they provide a gasket with the bpipe?

It's hard to say about the ol butt dyno. The car feels fast...but it has for awhile. It's definitely louder now...the y-pipe/b-pipe added some noise when under WOT. Still quiet as a kitten when cruisin on the highway, which is nice.

Your y-pipes will probably come with some sort of gasket for that hookup. I re-used the stock gaskets for the muffler side of the b-pipe and the fabbed something for the y-pipe end for now. It's not pretty, but it works.

(I ened up having to use a three hole 3inch gasket instead of a two hole one that's on our cars...so I have some gasket showing ... since only one of the holes has a bolt thru it.)

Well, sorry guys but it has been a busy new year, I am currently travelingout of the country but talked to Japtrix and they have a new supplier and are waiting on feedback as to timeframe and costs, I told them of the interes in the group buy for both the Z and G35, I would like to say we will have an answer quickly but realistically lets give it a couple of weeks you know how things can get.

Here's my concern: i'm running a kinetix plenum, stock intake, kinetix cats, and 3"ypipe; soon will be installing kinetix testpipes and topspd headers, and i'm concerned that i won't have enough back pressure and will lose hp. for this reason, i now have reason to question the wisdom of opening up my exhaust any more with a larger bpipe. obviously, i'm not boosted. what are your thoughts?
maybe i should start a new thread with this question.
ps: i'll be getting a reflash after all the above is done, if that matters.

Dont wory about losing back pressure. I used to have "test pipes, plenum and headers" and used to hit the speed limiter (255km/h) in a distance of 4 km. I installed a fuji Y-pipe and shortened the distance to around 2.7 km!!!

The thing I hate about the Y-pipe, the rattle sound and raspiness How can I get rid of that??

does the fuji ypipe have those bendy thingies? is it 3" diameter or less? my unlimited ypipe has the bendies; it is louder but not raspy.

I just got my kinetix hf cats, topspeed headers & fuji y-pipe installed recently and my car is definitely louder. The raspiness is a hit and miss meaning it's only raspy for the first 5 minutes that I'm driving my car and then it goes away.
