LouZer, do you prefer the y-pipe to the true dual for the vortech? I am getting my Vortech installed soon and was wondering.

That's actuall the opposite of what I noticed. With my JIC, I gained MUCH more mid-top end power, and lost a tad down low. This is often true of bigger piping exhausts, however the differences are very very minimal.
Especially with FI.

Let me clarify, I meant to say you can't do true duals w/ a single turbo kit by turbonetics which is my intentions when I have enough money saved up for the reinforcement of my motor by SGP racing for long block #2. I'm plan on sitting on about 600+ hp. Now which exhaust would be better in that situation, a single-cat w/ dual or single canisters?

Well I'm not sure on the info of the kit if it comes with a downpipe or not. I'm thinking that if it does, you will need to run a single exhaust. However I think that it may be the case that you will need to run a custom pipe made up from a muffler shop etc... So that you can run the exhaust as custom as you want, or however you would like. But i'm not 100% sure, I haven't gotten any literature on that kit that explains that portion of the setup.

The greddy I checked on yesterday, and It's not out yet from what I understand. Also, the JIC full titanium will run about $1200 retail, and the full stainless is about $650 or so.
PM me for more pricing info etc...

What about the DC Sports system?

I've been waiting a review or an image for a long time.

I talked to DC, and their exhaust is not a single canister single outlet exhaust like the JIC, as many of us had thought due to their description. DC says that their exhaust is similar to the nismo in design. one muffler two exits, like stock in style.

haha awesome, thats the muffler I sold to you a while back. glad ya like it. I originally wanted dual but that was a little overkill (and harder to install). This is the meanest exhaust setup for our cars and cheap! I think I got it installed w/ custom piping and custom Y pipe all mandrel bent for $650. Can't beat that... Considering people are paying 1K Plus for pipes and mufflers makes me laugh.

I've bottomed out on it so many times due to it being angled and never damaged it, albiet a little cosmetically. Sounds mean too since it's a V6, and with my blower man it's loud. HKS has a universal silencer that will fit just have to drill a hole in the tip (which I did), sounds as quiet as stock almost.

Enjoy..
