The HELP! method or the MIL eliminators should both work.

Drove the crap out of it at the dragstrip and it never came on.

Extended highway blast at WOT 140mph plus for over a minute and it finally did come on but this is S/C'ed and dumping a huge amount of fuel at a very rich A/F ratio into the engine under these conditions.

Reset it and forget it.

This I can live with.

Might light was on since the day I put on my test pipes. After I installed my vortech it turned off, but came back on when I was running about 150mph. I reset the ecu and cleared it.

I tried to install the non foulers today so when I really beat the crap out of it the light stays off. I got one side on, but I could not get the second 02 sensor off. I think it is stripped and I might have to get it cut off. Does anyone know how much a new o2 sensor runs?

Don't know if I was imagining things, but I think it idles better now....does not drop below 500rpms as much as it used to.

universal replacements are $52 - splicing/soldering required

OEM replacements are $89 or $179 depending on which side of the car they are on.

Both can be found HERE Just make sure you search out an '03 since they don't have an '04 database setup yet.

wait, I might be in luck. Is it left when you are sitting in the drivers seat or left when facing the car from the bumper?

Yes I would think so, maybe call them to make sure

LH side is the driver's side
RH side is the passenger side

Mine is an 04 with no s/c but with cats, y-pipe muffler back, intake and plenum spacer and with the non-foulers and new o2 sensors my cel light came back on after a 165mph run. I never reset the ecu but if the foulers work as well as they are supposed to why do they come on in the first place?

Do you think the o2 sensors could have been all burnt up from doing that or do they just need to be cleaned and ecu reset?

well i have had a 03 04 and now an 08. i work on a lot of person's cars in the area. never had a problem with anything but the 08. just stuffed it with some brillo and it was good to go. 03-06 just use 4 18MM oil non foulers as suggested above and drilled a hole big enough that the second 02 sensor can go thru just don't fully drill the second one out just first top one.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the o2 spacers are only for the secondaries, and not the primary a/f sensor(s) in the header manifolds?

Yeah thought so! Hmmm... arent the P1283/84/73/74 codes for the primary sensors? I know a lot of guys that have gone FI, or put on every breather mod known to man have been throwing codes for their primary sensors. But if you are throwing P0138/0139 (secondaries), the spacers should be all you need.

Yeah just don't get the Turbonetics kit... those guys seem to be plagued with those codes.

But I did manage to solve those codes for my situation. I traded in the Max for an xS sedan. lol

I aM getting my car tuned with uprev at performance motor sport tomorrow. They told me there gonna remove the cel and it will never come back on. great np with inspection now since in ny theirs no smog test. Finish doing your bolt ons then get a tune and they can delete that light caused by the os sensor permanent
