thanks man!!! I'm printing that off when I put mine in. This should be part of a "how to" sticky thread.

just wondering if this install is any more complicate by the fact that I'm replacing the whole intake tube as well. Anyone have anything to add for those of us not using any of the stock piping?

I don't remember any extra brackets with that section of hose... as long as your length/diameter is the same it should just be a clamp where it connects to the throttle body and the other clamp where it connects to the MAF sensor housing. From memory..

Not sure why you are adding an extra pipe?

The top tube clamps to the throttle body, to the MAF housing, screws into the intake manifold and has a vacuum line attached to the bottom of it.

wanted to replace the stock intake tube so I could basically make it look like an aftermarket short ram but with a pop charger on the end.

That vacuum hose on the bottom sure was a ***** though. The fitting on the UTR tube is about 2 inches longer than stock so I had to trim back the hose quite a bit so it wouldn't kink up as it was pushed back towards the firewall. Looks really good though. The UTR pipe and popcharger together was barely over $200.
