Default K&N typhoon CAI on a roadster?

Is it possible? I know that some CAI kits take a bit of *persuasion* to get into a roadster. Has anyone here put a typhoon kit on or know if it will fit easily?

I installed it on my 2005 roadster and thought it was an easy install, but I took my time and followed the directions carefully. ( along with a few beers). The only probably I had was with attaching the scoop behind the grill. They give you a bolt to attach it to the towing hook attachment, but the bolt was too short and did not allow everything to fit well. I unscrewed the grill and screwed the scoop to the side (plastic). It was more secure and I think looks better, although no one sees it. It is louder when you accelerate, but well worth it.

Thanks, did you get yours online? How much did you pay? I think I'm gonna go this route with intake.

Try www.vividracing.com they have them for $249.00. If you find one cheaper they will usally match the price. I got mine for $239.00 from another company but would recommend Vivid racing, as they have treated me very well on all my other mods I purchased from them.

Looks like Tony could sell 2 in one day. Your boss would give you a raise, K&N would award you with an award for sales growth, you would be known as Mr.K&N, girls would flock to you when your in your Z, etc...

all due to you selling 2 K&N Typhoon's for $200/ea...shipped!!
