Maximum Peak Torque 224.9ft-lb Gain: +5.2ft-lb
Maximum HP Gain vs. Stock: +7.6HP at 5500 rpm

...most important though, notice the gains are throught the WHOLE band...

The other CAI that was posted the other day and that is for sale for like $240 reportedly gave more power. Only 4 HP increase? Is it really worth it? Especially if you have to ditch the strut brace. Also, they only got 232 HP? What happened to 244? Car not broken in yet?

They should have integrated the strut bar with the design. How can they let this happen like this....I dont think its worth having the support taken out for such a small HP gain.

AEM is cheaper, but in my experience, INJEN is the better product. The car costs 33000$, Im not gonna cheap out now. I expect on a identical dyno that the injen will fair better, and sound and quality will be better as well.
my opinion of course, but Ill be ordering the Injen, regaurdless of price.
as for making it himself, Im sure he also knows what is not a simple tube, that tube has alot of engineering in it, not just a tube. Ive seen Intakes drawing air from the same place vary by 3hp or more based on whether they had one large bend, or 2 smaller bends, and where the bends were located.
it should be a given that it doesnt cost 300$ for metal tubing, its the design that costs money.
