Default Lets talk about the ECU

So guys...got a few bolt on's and thinking about getting reflashed.. (technosquare...?) I'm trying to get as much info as possible, but there isn't much when I searched.

What do the nissan delerships think about the reflash...???? Can they even tell? Do they void your warrantee????

I've heard with like 3-5 bolt on's the reflash typically gets you around +10whp and tq...? comments..? dynos???

Is this the best option, or can I get the same/better results with a tuned SAFC..?

Last thing would be best price/where to buy, and where to have it tuned..?

thanks alot guys!

I think its absolutely ridiculous that we have to pay 600$ for a reflash. And on top of that a reflash that’s not car specific. I talked to technosquare and frankly don’t think the reflash is worth it at all. I can justify paying 600$ to have it tuned on the dyno. But not reflashed from "looking" at my dyno chart. I know there are people here who swear by it but I think that’s the worst way of going about a tune. af readings from the dyno don’t tell you how much timing your engine is pulling. me personally im waiting for something like an AEM EMS to come out for our cars. me and my buddy tuned his supra with a laptop on the fly. it gives you the ammount of controll you need to do anything. i would gladly spend 1600$ for an EMS that can do the job right

for $600, you can get an aftermarket engine management unit that piggybacks on the ECU and dyno tuned. This also allows you to retune when you add on additional mods in the future.
