For a NA application , definately "NOT" the Megan Racing Pipes, this is from my first hand experience.

I just recieved the labree resonated test pipes. I really like them. SOund is rich and meaty - no rasp. I got an extra bung welded in for my eventual WBo2 sensor.

I just got my new test pipes from AAM. They sound great! Make the exhaust note louder but not too raspy. You should definately contact them about information on those. I may be jumpin the gun on advertising them since I dont think they've released them to the public yet, but I think they're definately worth waiting for.

AAM is coming out with resonated test pipes for the Z? This is going to be one product everyone jumps on if the price is right.... I can already see it.

They are non-resonated, I believe they plan on making resonated too though.

+1

The Labree are very nice. Your exhaust is going to be a big factor on the amount of rasp you will get with any type of test pipe.

Wasn't that noticeable until I installed the headers. Now it is fairly noticeble with the topspeed headers installed

I see...probably from the increased exhaust flow your pipes are seeing...
May I ask which resonated test pipes you're running? Were you able to use the stock tranny mount bracket on them?

Thanks!!

I have the infamous 'snake hiss' too and I'm running the Kinetix resonated test pipes.... If you get used to it, sounds kinda cool

If it's broken how can it do THIS?

My test pipes are labree resonated test pipes into an evo2 exhaust. And, yes, they have bracketst that attached to the stock tranny brackets. under light acceleration there is a bit of rasp, but under load, it's sure bliss

ENJOY

sweet vids man...thx!

I agree...under WOT it sounds sweet...but if you're just 30% throttling it around 3K...look out! haha. My friends tell me that I'm tripping though...that the rasp isn't bad outside the car...

shrug...
I'm more focused on the damn decel hiss issue right now.
