I stand corrected...$1,150...my apologies.
Dont go cheap on the exhaust.
If your gonna keep the car a while they need to last and also you dont want brands that tend to leak because of so many joins.

Not to mislead you from my reply, but you will have to fab/buy your down pipes/ HF cats from one of the other guys. Stillen does not offer the dual system manifold back, just catback.
Turbo mag did a shoot out on 350 exhaust in 12/04 and the Stillen made more power then the others..big on my list.
I'm buying this exhaust for my car, if it helps any of you out I believe I can get the system for about $1,050.00 + freight if I order a couple more at the same time.

Thats a good price.
I never considered changing out anything else, as the forums led me to believe a header and/or cat replacement would make the exhaust sound raspy.
So I just stuck with the CatBacks.
Is that true about the raspy sound with headers and Cats are the highflow cats the way to go for HP gain and sound?

Probably starting a fight here

But... I think alot of the rasp with HF cats and TP's comes from buying the cheapo's with very thin walls. Don't confuse CHEAP with PRICE, those are 2 different words entirely. Make sure you get thick, high quality SS piping (like Stillen TP) and that will help. Also, a good quality exhaust with large resonators will help too, like HKS or Stillen. Pipe diamater, weld quality, flow freedom, etc. are all gonna help. If your exhaust is shooting out glass pack material... 'nuff said.

You still might get some *exotic race-car sounds* but it is not the same as *rice rasp* like with ebay exhaust systems. Anyway, that's my $.02 I have heard both types of sounds on 350Z's.

I like both the Greddy and Stillen exhaust, either would be a good choice.
I think the biggest gains in headers and HF cats comes when you go F/I. We did headers in a 350 with Nismo catback and the sound level didn't increase much at all.Plus on the dyno it didn't make much more power until we super charged it.

...OUCH..I don't know what turbo your looking at but that's sounds high.
I can get you Turbonetics new single turbo complete system including tune for 4,750.00 + frt next week, no waiting on a possible group buy that may not happen. I'm presently quoting 1,250.00 for install with pre/post dyno's.

We will be installing one in our shop Z end of next week, if it goes quicker the install price will be lower.

Wow, so 6k for everything istalled and tuned? I havent read much about that kit but thats a good price for FI. Seems so extreme to drop so much cash at once.

....It doesn't hurt that much when you unleash an extra 150 whp, that's alot of hp for 6K........

No Damian, just wide tires and rims, a grille and some "Z" emblems.
I am not convinced about aftermarket intakes over the stock ones.
But, really want a turbo or Supercharger.
Speed, thats a good install price, are you in/near Houston?
Spdu, why do you hate Stillen as acompany?

I second that, i have the stillen exhaust as well and love it.But their customer service sucks. I thank god for there bad customer service though because if it wasnt for that i would be running their supercharger. Instead Im going tt (more potential)..I met steve millen and he is a great guy is just that the sales guy I had was horrible. I hate sales guy that play the numbers game. not realizing that eventually you will run out of customers and the stillen product wont hold you up.

My sales guy was great, but the receptionist in an attempt to help me get a shipping question answered transeferred me to some guy who was snippy, short, and hung up on me before I could say "thanks"...
The saleman is who saved the order, as I was going to cancel it in mid-shipment.
I guess my $1,000+ doesnt warrant manners...
So yeah, Stillens customer service bites in my opinion too.
Great exhaust though!
