Maybe you should have done a poll including your favorite choices so we can all vote.

Stillen does make the most power, it's also the heaviest (more so than stock)

I'm new to the Z. ( as my post count shows )

Is there any 1 thread that has each exhaust rated?
Any body do a dyno day for comparison??

Or are these all manufactor's claims??

Thanks!
(I have searched.. i'm new to the Z, but not life. )

Thanks ! How much more than stock?

I read that the Nismo is about 9lb. less.

The HKS Ti is very very sweet. But how's the power?

(and yes, i'm sure that none are going to give that much pwoer in N/A form.. just curious.)

Check out the Sport Z magazine article on the exhaust shootout. It has several dyno's, the weight and loudness of each exhaust.

The problem with the Sport Z article is that it's close to two years old. Many new exhausts have come out since then. I would love to see an update.

lol, that would take up the whole magazine with all the exhausts out there now. It would be interesting though, not to mention a lot of work to take the exhaust off and put it back on.

You could buy my Brand new Invidia exhaust still in the box for $800 shipped and spend the rest of the money on Plenum, High Flow Cats, CAI and still have some money left over. I researched the exhuast too, bottom line the borla is too many pieces, this stillen is sweet but $1200 and but heavier than stock and obviously not a lot of poeple have it on this board b/c not a lot of post when you do a search, the AMUSE and other full Titanium exhaust are all nice but produce the same HP gains for almost triple the price. My choice was between Nismo, Stillen & Invidia. I read till i was sick of reading.

The only reason I am selling mine is I decided to go all Nismo after I already bought the Invidia (despinte the Nismo posting the least gains of the three only 6 HP) . When I say all Nimso I mean CAI, Headers, Exhaust, emblems etc..
Seriously even if you don't buy mne, don't spend all you money on exhaust when you can have exhaust, HFC's, CAI and plenum all at once. But to each his one I guess.

A link to my exhaust for sale is in my sig if interested, hope this info helps.

Anyone do any kind of dyno work on this for a comaprison? Just curious since i don't drive around with my engine at the top end, I would be willing to sacrifice a little top end to retain more middle grunt.

If you look at this arguement of middle grunt v. highend...i go for highend if you know how to shift properly...I used to have an s2000 and people used to say its all highend and then I will pull past them because in a race you pick the appropriate gear and you run the car in high rpms to go fast...you dont stay in the same gear as cruising with a little more power and then expect to go fast, you downshift and run the engine so where you want the power is in the high end...but that is my driving style
