its a PIA....the job is time consuming....approximatly 4 hrs for a professional or shop and roughly 8 hrs in your garage with 2 people (can be shorter if you know someone that has done it before).

having the right tools is an absolute must....but imo, its not technically difficult. the dc sports instructions were very straight forward...i used both their instructions and the z manual.

i didn't find it necessary to drain any coolant either but this would make getting to some of the bolts much easier. if you go crawford i believe the install is a little more difficult...check their website for details.
