I bought a kinetix upper IM and after i installed it i noticed a gurgling(sp?) noise when the a/c is on. Sounds like someone is trying to drown my poor engine. Is something wrong?

 

Sounds like a leak, are all the bolts tight? Have someone get in the car give it gas and turn a/c on get close to see if you hear a vacumm noise I bet that is what it is.

 

actually, the "gurgle" sound is pretty normal.

A leak will sound like a whistle, and your idle would be rough as well.

The kinetix plenum has a gurgle sound to it at idle, especially since you hear the engines internals at work moreso than with factory

 

Thanks, i didnt think it was a leak since i had one when i installed it. Scared the crap out of me. Thought the engine was gonna blow. Anyway, thanks again for the help.
