This weekend I was playing around with the intake and came across something that didn't make too much sense to me.

If you look at the way the intake is designed, after the filter box, there is a little opening which directs the air into the box. However, when you close the hood, it seems like the hood is blocking that opening.

I don't really understand where the Z is getting its air from?!

Also, anyone with aftermarket intakes got any gains from them? If so, which ones?
