Default kinetix v4 airleak issue

I've had my v4 installed for about 5 months now and i've had an airleak since day one. Its a very small one, you would never know its there if the car didnt almost stall out at idle sometimes. Its coming from the back of the plenum right behind the throttle body. I have tried tightening and retightening the screws about 20 times and no luck. My friend suggested that i scrape off the cork gasket and use some of that gasket that comes in a can. Is this a good idea or is there something else i can do to get rid of the leak?

Use Permatex Ultra Grey Gasket Maker. I had the same problem. Works great.

I had a leak when we did my V4, It turned to be that when the stock plenum was removed and to Crawford was put on the two bolts that are not used, were not pluged. These "extra" holes were pluged, this fixed my leak.
It seamed that the leak was coming from the bottom, even tho it's inside!
Could this be it

no, kinetix provides screws to plug those holes inside the plenum. My original leak was coming from near the throttle body at the back portion of the plenum. Now i dont have a clue where the leak was is coming from because the car stalls within seconds of starting.
i have another question, when i pulled off the plenum yesterday there was oil everywhere inside of it and a small pool of oil near where the leak was. Is that normal?
