Default Finally got everything installed......

I have a 2003 Track model and I finally got the following installed at the same time:

HKS RS Intake
HKS Hi-Power Dual Exhaust
Kinetix V4 Plenum
Kinetix High Flow Cats
Alphawerks Headers

After leaving the shop and taking it on the open highway, I noticed a huge gain in mid range and high end....The car pulls hard!! I lost alittle low end and I'm thinking because of the loss of backpressure since it's a true dual exhaust....All in all, I am VERY happy with the outcome. The car definite sounds like a mean V8 when starting it....Now I'm just wondering what the next mod would be....hmmmm....

That's what I felt also... a "little" loss down low, really doesn't matter to me, and a "HUGE" gain at 3500 and above, where it counts in roll on and street racing.

Hey, I would love to see some vids of your exhaust setup if you can get some! I wanna hear some more accurate clips of this exhuast at different throttle loads from outside the car...Have you heard any other exhausts for the Z? Does it sound similar to anything else?

If you plan on going F/I, I wouldnt get the 3.9 gears. Are you a 5AT or 6MT? If you are a 6MT and plan on going F/I, I would go down to the 5AT gearing. If a 6MT and plan on staying NA, I would step up to the plate with probably the 3.90 gears.

I will soon take some pics of the exhaust and the engine bay. As for vids, I would know how to post it. The exhaust sounds a little louder than stock when you're not flooring it but once you press the pedal down, it's a whole different world. Even if I could post the clips of my car, I don't think it would be accurate since I have the Kinetix HFC and the Alphawerks headers on there.

As for gears, I have a 6MT but I'm really debating what I want to do as in FI or All Motor but thanks for the input guys!
