Default GReddy EVO2 installed pics

Just had the GReddy EVO2 installed. Here are some pics. There was some rattling on the passenger side after the install but the good guys at Razing Zone Orlando took care of it right away. I'm impressed with the system so far although more from the aesthetics than performance since I can't notice the latter.

Just wait till the exhaust actually breaks in and it will sound amazing. I was actually disappointed with the exhaust initially, but now I could not be happier. I also had mine put in at Racing Zone but in Tampa...

OLlieHOlic....I don't think I have the passenger side issue you mentioned but I'll check it again. I'll post some sound files when I get a chance. Zexy....let me know when and where.

Clearly one of the cleanest and best looking systems around, the question is only what it sounds like... Some sound clips would be highly appriciated!!

Would love to get one for the looks, but im not so sure about the sound, i want a loud and "exotic" sounding system.

if you want a loud and exotic sound, then this isn't the exhaust for you. i've had mine for about 2 weeks now. it deffinately changes the sound but doesn't really increase the noise level too much. deffenitly louder than stock though and it looks really sick.

nice pics ron

I agree it's not real loud and exotic. My plan now is to add Crawford headers and HFCs as well as a Vortech SC which should layer nicely on top of this exhaust and give a more aggressive/louder sound.....and no rasp!

HKS has a little higher tone - more foreign/exotic than the greddy. The greddy note has a bit more 'substance' to it. Both are nice exhausts.

Don't think the greddy is loud enough, test pipes will definitely wake it up.

My clips are with headers, resonated test pipes and greddy exhaust.

Can I ask how much you paid for the Exhaust System? I've been looking for an Evo2 for awhile now. Can someone explain to me the part that needs to be relocated? Thanks!

Default Rattling on Passenger Side

Great looking and sounding, too.

I had the right side rattle on my Borla TD, and it was the rear oem metal strip where the rubber mount attaches touching the exhaust. The shop cut a tiny bit of the metal from the bottom with a sawzall, and it took care of the rattle.

it's the evap box that vents your fuel tank. You move it from behind the rear passenger wheel - tucked up in the bumper - to between the two canister mufflers. This is a bit time consuming and requires a trick or two to get it done right. IMO, the relocation materials supplied with the exhaust are substandard.

I agree on your last statement. My car periodically throws an SES light for "Gross EVAP leak", which is related to this EVAP canister. I suspect that it's due to the rubber tubing being just a tad too short, so when it gets hot, it kinks in the middle and the EVAP pressure sensor thinks it's a leak.

On another note, my EVO2 sounds very much like stock, but I think it's because of the big-@$$ turbocharger in the exhaust stream!
