Default How to Load the Nismo/Stock Exhaust?

Ok guys, I'm going to need your help. I tried searching in this forum with different word combinations but nothing came up. I can't remember what forum I saw it in (I think it's this one).

I am going to order the Nismo Exhaust within a month but here's the problem. I need to take it to my shop guy to install it there. I remember a while back, there was a thread of a person who described how to load it in the Z and he even took pictures of the process. It basically showed how he could use the Z's cabin/hatch space for the entire cat-back exhaust system. Can anyone find this thread?

I was told one option would be to have the exhaust shipped directly to the shop (which I have no problem with either) but I need to bring the old exhaust back home. Since the stock exhaust is similar to the Nismo one, I was hoping it would load in my car in the same manner.

Please help!

All your gonna need to do is put the muffler in the hatch, then put the y pipes and whatever in the passenger seat, itll fit. I fit my fujitsubo in my hatch.

Definitely. I'll even take some pictures for you guys. I'm ironing out my budget to see if I can get the exhaust within a month or two. Gotta take care of the bills & living expenses first.

+1 That's what I did to my Fuji as well. BTW...make sure you get some blankets or something to protect your interior. I place some around the rear hatch area & the strut to prevent anything from getting scratched.
