Is this personal experience or an independent test? I don’t go by what Greddy says.

Here are more #'s in order of ranking:

PEAK HP:
1. Borla 8.2
2. Stillen 8.1
3. Injen 7.6
4. Nismo 6.3
5. 5Zigen -3.4

PEAK Torque:
1. Stillen 7.3
2. Injen 5.1
3. Nismo 4.5
4. Borla 2.7
5. 5Zigen 0.2

Im pretty sure this was all done on a stock Z, it shows 6.3 for the Nismo.

which 5Zigen exhaust was that?

Peak HP isnt all that matters... Sometimes a part makes only 1 or 2 peak horse power but in the lower RPM range will make 5-10..

I currently have the stillen exhaust and like it a lot... unfortunately its heavier than I want and looks very stock.

I have been thinking about trading it for a greddy evo2, invidia, or HKS TD Ti... will any of these exhausts give me similar power but weigh enough less to make it worth the swap. I'm running the stage 2 stillen sc and will be going to the stage 3 soon, which exhaust is good for my FI application?

looks like -3.4 to me! wonder whats up with that?

I love the way the greddy evo2 looks, but i hear its very quiet which isnt what i really want. Nismo sounds pretty sweet but it looks so stock. The HKS TI looks sexy but man 1500 bucks? thats just to much for an exhaust (and i have never heard clips of it.)

Weren't there some problems with the welds on the Borla exhausts? Have these been proven false and/or remedied?

The borla doesnt clamp like most exhausts, it comes together like the clams on an intake, if you dont use the right grease it will leak. Also some people choose to have it all welded together.

I would choose to weld mine together if i didnt plan to sell it soon!

Yes, good info, but what im most concerned with is power to weight ratio of each exhaust. Would an exhaust that makes 5hp and saves 10lbs be better than an exhaust that makes 10hp and weights a little more than stock... ? ? I wish I knew how much they all weighed and had some independent dyno charts rather than manufacturer ones....
