Question What to do?

Hi everyone. I am kind of new to the site. I was wondering what would be the best mod to do. I have the JWT Pop charger. I was either thinking about going with test pipes or a plenum. I am sure there are probably a ton of threads on this topic but i have been searching for hours and haven't found much, so if some could either lead me to a thread or give me an answer that would be great. Thank you.

“best mod to do”

Can you give a bit more information? “best mod to do” for what? What are you trying to accomplish. Thanks.

I’m going to go against the status quo here, and offer a somewhat unique suggestion:

Buy a helmet.

Take a professional performance driving class. The 350Z is an exceptional car. Very few drivers have the skills to push the car to its limits. You’ll get a lot more “performance” out of the car then by simply bolting on horsepower.

davidv makes a very good suggestion! I couldn't think of a better way to invest your money but to invest it in yourself. Gain the proper driving skillz to learn how to drive your Z fast and smooth and controlled. Even if u have no plans to race in the future, Driver's Ed events are one of the best ways to learn performance driving that easily applies to normal and spirited street driving.

BUT, if you are just simply considering a bolt on performance mod so you can increase that daily grin on your face to a full fledged smile, then consider headers. Easily one of the best NA performance mods you can do to your car.

Here's a head start in your research:

no need to go any further! ;o) PM me if you have any questions...

Well to be honest I agree with a few others, I don't think anything is better than seat time in your own car to get better with it.

However, you will eventually get to a point when you'll need more power to go faster, no matter how good you are with your car...

Bang for the buck, hows 8-17hp for about $250 sound? Our AAM Spec Angled Plenum Spacer will do just that. We've seen 8-17hp gains on the dyno here pretty regularly. I'd recommend that first.

Then you might want to consider header upgrades (like from Strup), cat replacements (we sell our own and other manufacturers), a Y-pipe (we also sell our own and other manufacturers) and an a good exhaust system. After that I'd say get your ECU reflashed for the mods. You'd have a very nice powerful all motor car.

I have been doing a lot of searches and I haven't found an answer. If someone could post a link to a thread that would be great. Thanx.
