I like greddy, HKS and Apexi. I will see who comes out with an exhaust and choose from there but I am happy with how the stock exhaust sounds and looks fornow.

Right now, I'm completely sold on the Power Enterprise system.

The JZA80 guys love JIC, but they often run HKS.

The FD3S guys usually seem to run Apexi' or Racing Beat, which is a Mazda-only tuner. Personally, I thought the N1 made by Apexi' sounded horrendous, but it made the most power.

Only time will tell which company, Blitz, HKS, Tanabe, GReddy, Apexi, or JIC has the superior exhaust for the Z.

Whats the average price for a good exhaust upgrade? The Nismo Exhaust is over $2K, while the B&B exhaust is around $900. Is the Nismo exhaust overpriced , or is it just better.

I think nismo is just japanese name brand, thats why it is so pricey.

but VQ..I KNOW there are alot of makers. Thats not my question! Sure, 20, 30, 100 makers, but which one do you think of and say," Damn, I hope _____________makes an exhaust soon. All their other stuff is the best because ___________."

hmmm, brand is pretty low on the list for me, actually I dont think it is even on the list:

performance
sound
looks
price

are probably all the factors I woudl consider (in order) I will probably be waiting at least a year, so hopefully there will be plenty of time for me to decide on my purchase....

I wanted the HKS exhaust but it cost about $2200 so I got the Greddy Evo2 which was $1000 and I'm happy. I just think the HKS looks badass.

Where have you been shopping? Got mine for $850. Are you sure the $2000 was not the price for cat-back AND headers?
