If you got them from e-bay for the 80-90 bucks you can probably sell them for around there and not lose much money.
Do you think the reason why they cracked is because you bought the pipes from ebay?

I dont know where mine came from, they came on the car. But the ones sold on e-bay are the exact same ones sold in stores, the quality is exactly the same. Both have the megan racing lable and both came from the same place. The only reason its better to buy them from a store or web-site is for a warrenty.

well i think megan racing broke a record...mine broke after two fu**ing days. If you shake the right test pipe there is something rattling around in the damn cannister.

Where did you get them from? If it was a web site send them back for a refund!

Well then that takes away any reason to buy Megan pipes from a web site! Why pay 150 when you can get the EXACT same thing from e-bay for 80 bucks!

I had no SES light on my 03 with resonated and non-resonated pipes.

I have the Kinetix high flow cats and I really cannot stand the rasp anymore. Really bad around 3k rpm and for about 2 minutes when I start the car up. I have Top Speed headers as well. Would I see less rasp with resonated test pipes or resonated high flow cats? Also, would I loose power switching to either one of these?

ok everything has been put on. The resonated pipes do say megan racing on them I noticed and i just installed them 2 nights ago. The intake made the motor quite a bit louder and the pipes have virtually no rasp. you might here a little around 4000 rpms but it sounds good. No cel came on. I love the new sound it gives it a very exotic tone. It has better throttle response and I can feel a little bit more pull in the higher rpms. I highly reccomend them both.

I am just going to drop the extra cash and get the Labrees resonated test pipes, They are pretty pricy but they have tons of good reviews and every one says there is no rasp and are made of VERY good quality.

So you all agree that the intense test pipes are the same once you get on ebay for 90 bucks?

FOr those who had the welds crack... cant you just weld it back up?

1sick350 - how are your pipes holding up. where did you get them from ebay or intense web site?

They do not give you a warrenty, so why would you pay $150 for somthing you can get for 80-90 bucks? They are the EXACT same pipe, Megan only makes one kind of resonated test pipe for the Z. If you dont mind losing 80-90 bucks pick up a pair from ebay, some people have not had a single problem with them. If 80 dollars is a acceptable risk go for it, decent non resonated pipes go for around 100-150ish and resonated go for 300+. I had mine welded back together but they broke again, not to mention even after the welding they still sounded funky.
