OK...Im not being cheap or any thing but i want something FREE FLOWING!!! ... Yesterday i purchased an 03 Redline Red Track Z and my goal is 12's n/a but yea anyways i was wondering if some; Helix Test Pipes, Nismo Y Pipe(s), take out the OEM resonator, with stock exhaust would be a nice set-up ....haha damn im real happy for myself hahaa its a lot different from my collection of hondas but yea can anybody give me advise on a nice set-up or LMK if my " idea " is koolies...ite thanks.. im soooo excited i sound like a noob

hahah yea well i work at Nissan and i know quite a few about them...haha so i decided to just get 1 for myself..gotta start somewhere

 

you work for nissan...shouldn't you tell us how to get in the 12's?

 

i took my resonator out, it WILL buzz when cold. oh and i have DC headers

 

haha uh...no?....and how does it sound with your resonator out besides the buzzing nose when cold...oh and 1 more thing is the Nismo down-pipe the same size as the OEM down-pipe because it looks like its the same size ....

 

i have the dc header with the full nismo exhaust with resonator and stock cats. my z sounds like a beast and i am planning to get test pipes to ease the exhaust flow. but to answer ur question the nismo exhaust doesnt have a downpipe. its just the y-pipe, mid pipe and the muffler.
