well I have one, but the thing is a i dunno - it has issues

It doesn't fit worth a crap. At least it's a pain in the butt to get on. It's mainly cause the part where it joins the plenum bulges out big time and has a thick heavy duty connecting rubber samco hose that has pretty much no give. It's just so big it's hard to get on.

Also, it's LONG. It's supposed to work with a JWT, but it is so long that I actually couldn't figure out how to get the intake on it if you were to install it. I have a Koyo radiator which is slightly wider and thicker and so it just wasn't going to easily go on

I ended up sawing off about 2 inches of piping off of the front of it in an attempt to put the JWT on it, but the neck where it joins the plenum is such a pain - especially since it has the PCV valve. So really, the way I see it you have to install the JWT onto the tube first, put it part way on, hook up the PCV valve, then somehow wedge the neck onto the plenum.

The other samco rubber connector was a pretty tight fit on the MAF housing. I ended up having to slit it about 1 cm. It's a pretty long connector so the slit is fine. Seriously though both rubber samco connectors are so tight, I almost think they're the wrong size. The part that joins the plenum flares out and widens the tube by about 2 cm. The samco hose on that end then funnels back down to the regular size to fit the throttle body.

I'll sell you mine if you want it for probably pretty cheap. I've never used it. Only things that have been done to it is I've cut 2 inches off the front part of the tube - which I just don't see what the designers were smoking cause it practically went to the intake duct, and one of the connecting hoses (you can replace it with another BTW) has a slit so you can at least attempt to fit it on the MAF housing

Otherwise it seems like a nice tube. It's coated in Jethot sterling. I paid $150 or so for it. I'll sell it for like $50 shipped though for anyone willing to take on the challenge

I can take pics....

i don't know, i never got it on my Z. It was such a hard thing to fit on the manifold I eventually said screw it. SPL claims it adds hp. IMO I think it's good cause it's coated with jethot coating and it brings the intake closer to the duct so there's less chance of air getting heated up from the turbulent ambient air between the filter and duct

yeah i kinda screwed myself when i decided to cut the end of it off cause then i knew i wouldn't be able to return it

at the same time i wouldn't feel quite right selling it because it's just not easy to get on and don't want the buyer to think I sold them a POS

I honestly can't believe SPL thought it was a quality part that was good enough to sell. In theory it is, but the fitment is just so horrible.

If anyone wants to take it off my hands, i'll sell it as long as you understand this thing is gonna take some work to get it on
