LIke the title says, on my stock Z, how much will lets say a popcharger or AEM do? Im starting to mod and im thinknigof the first ones to do.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. Check out the recent thread on the AFE intake - they claimed 21 hp but it was more like 5 actual.

Most of the intakes for the Z only seem to add about 5 hp, some have actually caused a loss in HP. The stock intake is already pretty efficient and the engine is tweaked to the max. You'll find it's hard to get a lot of easy bolt-on power.

My friend is putting on the new injen intake 2morrow he told me when he orderd it that it would add like13-15rwhp..not true,,,, I think he talked to someone from injen its more like 5-10 rwhp...I run the pop charger, I gaind at least 4-5 rwhp on the butt dyno..The main thing is the throttle response you feel with the pop charger....109shipped cant beat that!
