I'm thinking about buying a Kinetix SSV manifold for my NA '04 Performance model. Is a reflash necessary with this manifold or can I just bolt it up and drive? My car is basically stock with APS test pipes.

 

I just bolted it on and the car runs fine. I also have headers, HF cats and Y pipe. The only thing to note is that it idles a little higher (1K with A/C on) and it is running a little bit lean.

But I don't notice a lot of improvement, and I feel is due to the lack of a reflash. So, my .02 is it will work, but you won't get as much out of it as you might with a reflash.
