Default Fujitsubo Muffler & Y-Pipe Fitted (no 56k)

Hi guys, just finished up fitting my Fuji muffler and Y-pipe

the install was very easy, everything just bolted on

i forgot my digi cam at home so took the install pics on my phone....forgive the lousy quality shots

took the car for a drive and wow!!! it now starts with a deep burble, very purposeful, but idling its as quiet as stock. Through low-mid revs overall Its a stock like sound only deeper and slightly louder, but the noise is just pure quality euro stuff. No civic fart can, no over run, just a nice burble (very BMW inline 6 like) when u back off the accelerator or between shifts. Inside the car there is no buzz, no droning, its all very quiet....could be all my sound insulation in the boot. Up high it shrieks, and together with the stock rasp of the high rev engine, it sounds f$#king awesome......im wrapt, love it Feels a bit more powerful through the mid range

the tips are big mothers though, will take some getting used to, but the rear end does look ballsy now

ill trial the exhaust for a month, then decide whether to do the crawford cats

onto the pics.....

Fuji mid-pipe

Fuji Y-pipe

thanks for the feedback guys

i bought the exhaust from a local guy who imports all top brands from Japan.

it cost me AUD $2K all up incl. shipping.......it broke down to roughly 1290 for the legalis (+mid pipe) and 710 for the y-pipe

You can't perform a good fisting on a Nismo tip, like you can a Fuji....

Congrats TiPIACE & welcome to the Fuji family

Yep, Fujitsubo makes the Nismo exhaust systems. I have this same exhaust including the matching Y-Pipe & the Helix HF Cats & I absolutely love how it sounds. It sounds slightly more aggressive than the OEM one during normal opperation but when you go WOT, it just growls!!! I thought the tips were a bit big when I first got them as well. Definitely takes some getting use to but when I got my aftermarket rear bumper, I'm glad it was that way since it now fits perfectly. I think it just looks big with the OEM bumper since it is more exposed. Here's some pics:

one question... fujitsubo exhaust system for Acura Rsx is known to restrict the airflow, but is it same with this exhaust system????

it should restrict airflow since the pipe diameter is larger than stock with softer bends

GTNUPZ, do you have any sound clips?

im going to make some on the weekend......who wants to hear what the Fuji sounds like at 7000rpm

i seriously doubt the looks of the barrel can exhaust...
:/
its looks clumsy for some reason...
it looks as if it makes the exit less straight (straighter = less restrictive air flow = power)
