Default New exhaust?

Hey everyone. I am a new member to this forum. I am just wondering what you all suggest I get for a new exhaust. I am leaning toward Borla. Also, my friend just got a Z and he wants to know more about BOMZ racing products. He likes their exhaust as well. I am not sure about the products, so I didn't give him any advice. What do you suggest for him?

Welcome to the forum. There’s a wealth of facts and opinions here, but please learn to use those resources properly. First search “best exhaust” and “borla” in the exhaust formum. You’ll find hundreds of comments. If you still have specific questions (not “which exhaust sounds the most exotic”) please post in the exhaust forum. Welcome and thanks.

i personally am a fan of the HKS Hi Power Ti system, the Speed Force Racing system, the Top Speed Pro-1, and the Apexi N-1. If the Stillen system didn't add weight instead of reduce it, I'd like it too... Oh and the high end stuff like the Fujitsubo titanium and the Amuse titanium are gorgeous, but wayyyy too rich for my blood. hope that you find something you like!

BOMZ racing looks like a ricer brand ...
no offense...
The Z is designed for high end japanese tuner add-ons
like HKS or APEXi

Go with the best... Nismo, or all-out with Fujitsubo Super Titanium.

I'm in the same market as you are. First you have to ask yourself what's more important, performance, weight, looks, sound, price, or a combo of these.

From the research that I've done, Nismo, Borla TD and HKS TD ti are great for performance and you won't have to sell your arm. The borla has a deep V8 like sound where as the Nismo and HKS are more high pitch "exotic" sound. Theres so much info here to share and like someone else mention, just search around. Its also fun that way.

Well, I can personally vouch for the Borla. I love the deep throaty notes at the lower rpms, but the secret is a new intake or such. I added a JWT Popcharger and it brought the Borla to LIFE!!!!!! Can't believe they sell the exhaust without that included!!!! haha

BOMZ=ricer ebay crap. Hence why the stuff is so cheap.

I would lean toward HKS Ti Dual, or Invidia.
If your looking for mega sound, lean toward Amuse but....$$$.
If you like angled tips, lean toward speedforce exhaust.
I am about to purchase the HKS.
