Default v4 plenum check engine light?????

Well i put my Kinetix v4 plenum on and now im throwing a check engine light.........what the crap. I disconnected the battery and that didnt cure it, i didnt hear any leaks, everything seems to be on right. I even drove it and holy **** is it fast......does anyone know what the hell could be wrong????

Did you turn on the ignition while the MAF or throttle body was disconnected? How long did you unhook the battery for (less than 12 hours won't reset the ECU)? Do a search on ECU reset and follow that procedure (you can find it on Technosquare's website as well); that should take care of it.

how does your Z idle? i just installed the Motordyne 5/16" plenum spacer and
noticed that even though i didn't hear any leaks there were some loose screws
that were keeping it from having a clean, flush fit. after turning the ignition the
Z would idle okay for a few seconds, then rumble a little... stop... again, etc.

once i went back and checked i found a couple of loose screws that i forgot
to tighten. not sure how the kinetix V4 mounts, but maybe go back and check
that your mounting screws are properly torqued.
