Sorry if its too technical.

Also being a rocket propulsion engineer/scientist at Boeing, it is the normal expectation that all claims are described in technical detail. Performance claims aren't (can't) be accepted at face value. They must be proven by sound analysis or test data. The propulsion test reports and critical design reviews I present to NASA, JPL, PhD's, program managers and executives often require much more intense technical detail.

What I write for the Motordyne product descriptions may be a bit more than required but its a good practice to maintain.

LOL I ask that myself sometimes. I work extra hard to make the time. I'll transition full time to MD soon anyways. I'll need the time to develop other new projects currently in the works.

I read all the posts and I still have a question...Maybe I just missed the answer, but If I have an '03 287 with the '05 300 lower plenum, what option would be ideal? Would a spacer make a difference? Thanks in advance

I suggest using the 287 collector with a plenum spacer. Your new peak HP will be similar, if not a little higher and the peak will occur at about 6K RPM rather than at redline.

You will also have extra TQ and HP everywhere else on the curve.

It all looks like a win/win situation. If you try it, please post your impressions and get it pre/post dynod if you can. For you, its the equivalent of inatalling a MREV on a 287 engine but without the variable valve timing and 7000 RPM redline.

yep, using just the revup plenum will provide gains at the high end of the rpm band on a 287. Your best performance gains can be had by putting the 287 plenum back on, and get the 5/16" iso thermal spacer kit.

We have them ready to ship!
