Default Topspeed Pro N1 Fittment Problems Solved?

I have heard of some fitment problems with this exhaust hitting the car. If you have a Topspped Pro N1 can you tell me if you have any fittment issues?

On the passenger side it will hit the shield close to where its mounted, and also will hit close to the M-Brace. The Driver side canister's bracket/mount has to be adjusted a little so that it doesn't touch on the bumper.

Can this exhaust be manipulated to fit properly without any issues? What's the bottom line. To buy or not to buy.... that is the question.

I bought it without knowing the issues, and even knowing them I'd still buy it. If you know someone that can do your exhaust install for free and do the modifications then by all means get it! The modifications are easy to do, just have them blowtorch heat the mounting braces and pull the canisters to the left a bit on the driver side canister if it touches the bumper and water spray cool it to make it stay straight. The Mid-pipe almost touching the M-suspension brace shouldn't be a problem because I think even the stock exhaust's mid-pipe was almost touching it to begin with. Even if the exhaust shop has to do a little custom work, you can't beat the price that I got for it new lol.

We put some rubber spacers between the "M brace" and the frame to give it some clearance there. On the passenger side, we had to cut a corner off the metal box back there to keep it from touching the can. After that it cleared just fine.

What metal box are we talking about?

How loud is the Top Speed Pro 1 with the Turbonetics with and without the silencers?

Do you still have the exhaust on the car or did you switch to the Fujitsubo?

Would you buy it again or skip it?

Look underneath your car on the passenger side, you'll see a metal box/shield then you'll know what we're talking about. You can put rubber spacers just in case, but I didn't as the Mid-pipe wasn't quite touching the M-Brace. I could see that it might if I were to ever scrape bad on a dip though.

You can also buy some Insulating Tape ( for water pipes ) ans a black duct tape and apply some of this on where the canister and that black square box is hitting each other. This works on the m bracket as well. Good Luck!
