Title says it all...would I need a tune after Nismo intake, headers, exhaust and then the Motordyne spacer?

how do you determine that?

from black sut on your exhaust tips? or did you get an air flow taking from dyno?

Not all Z's Ive seen have run lean from HF cats or tp's. They run leaner, but not lean, you know we run rich from the factory so we have some room to improve. Only one way to find out and thats go get it dyno'd with A/F, then decide if its needed.

Need more information please. Do you have a diagnostic chart showing air:fuel ratio? “Rich” means what: 13.7:1?

David, 13.7 A/F would be a tad lean for an NA application. It wouldnt post a risk of any damage, but a little lean, ideally you want 12.8:1-13.5:1 NA, my Z makes good power at 13:1, my other car makes good power at 13.5-14:1, every car is different. Rich would be going toward the other end of the spectrum 12.5>

When I dynoed I had the A/F hooked up with a Inovate tailpipe sniffer.

The A/F ratios are on the bottom of the graph. This is all according to the Blue line.

Is that across the board? Here is the AFR from my stock pull using a tailpipe sniffer...btw, are these horribly innaccurate compared to a wideband? Is WB what most dynos use?

These are just as accurate imo as a wideband. Your mods have made you a little lean down low and mid range and you get richer as rpm's rise. I think you would be a good candidate for an ecu reflash or a piggy back tuned. I had over 15:1 lean A/F's before I even did the flash, but Im glad I did, all the mods really came together. Dyno's use widebands but they usually measure through the tail-pipe aka sniffer. Some places put the wideband right into an exhaust bung, but you usually see that more in high hp FI applications.

BTW-what kind of dyno was that?

That was a Mustang dyno...but I think you misunderstood my post. That was my stock (before) AFR. I don't have my "after" to post yet...I did the after pull, but the printer was broken.

Oh ic. I would question there 02 sensor then because I have never seen a stock Z that lean. I would go to a different dyno and double check things now.
