I believe that you are talking about programming the ECU? Sounds like an expensive proposition ($185-$385) for just one mod.

I highly doubt anybody has done it. You would get as much gain from a Pop-charger and tuning as tuning a stock Z imo, like David said not very worthwhile.

Yes, the JWT intake or any other intake out there is bolt on and go. There is no ECU reflashing needed. You can actually do all your bolt ons without needed a ecu reflash, don't let anyone else tell you different. its just that even though you don't NEED it, you CAN benefit from one, with the more mods you do to get your Air/fuel and timing under control. I had everything including cams with my car before I even considered a reflash.
Technosquare did mine, and Andy's here, they do good work, but like i said, leave it to the last thing that you do, you don't need it really before then.

Wrong. You contradict yourself by saying you don tneed one but you can benefit from one. For some of us doing all the bolt-ons makes us need a reflash to see the gains and get A/F safe. My car had over 15:1 A/F and was barely running faster than stock at the track because of the ECU retarding timing so it wouldnt detonate. In my case and others you do need a reflash afer all thhe bolt-ons. It doesnt matter what you had before you considered a reflash did you dyno test after every mod to check your A/F's? I did. You may have needed one before you did the cams. Your statement is just wrong, I could also say you can throw on a Greddy TT kit up the boost and not need to tune the car, but that wouldnt be very smart would it?

No prolly not. It takes more than that for you to need a reflash. If you do test-pipes combined with an exhaust those will lean you out, but even then your Z may still be within a safe A/F. Only one way to check, dyno it or get a wideband.
