Default iso thermal plenum spacer

Hey whats up. With my extra money, I want to get the motordyne iso thermal plenum spacer. I live down in New orleans, and it gets pretty hot, so I think the Iso thermal would be the best bet. Does anybody know the place with the cheapest price for the kit?? I'll be doing the install myself since its really nothing too complicated.

I think your best bet is to get it from motordyne since right now, they are having a 8% discount for the month of December.

sorry about that. I always forget to do it, but I'll put them in the right place from now on.

I have one, don't bother. Spend money elsewhere. (the thermal gasket that is.. their plenum spacers are awsome)

If ur hardcore autocross or road track..it won't affect you. Hydrazine even said it when he released it. I got it cause i got a deal 2nd hand. You wont notice any difference in power, but you won't succumb to heat soak as easy. That rarely happens, and u'd be better off getting just the spacer. PS, their 1/2 spacer pwnt all the other plenum spacers in the plenum shoot out in the Z magazine..

while on the subject what is the difference between the two, and is it worth it to get 1/2 over the 5/16?

i took the 5/16 over the 1/2 because it made more usuable power through the power band vs the 1/2...the 1/2 makes more peak hp...

looks like www.partshippers.com is out of stock on the 5/16. Wonder what the wait is like. Would it be worth the wait for the extra 2% or just go with MD website that offers 8%

EDIT: LOL, This is what is on the MD site: "Due to high demand, all plenum spacers are currently on backorder and all new orders will be shipped out mid January." So if we order from partshippers, they will recieve it between mid jan to end jan and then they will ship to us.

So would you wait or get another plenum. I saw the skunk2 spacer that claims 10whp at best. I figured that there is no difference between the skunk2 and motordyne. Im i wrong?

I have the iso thermal gasket with my spacer and I noticed a big difference in the temperature of the plenum. That cant hurt since we are usually around 100 degrees in the summer out here.
