Full length Long Tube Headers?
AFIAK only XERD & Supersprint make full length headers for the Z33 & V35. I searched the archives and found some information about them. Is anyone using them and if so what are your impressions (I want to recieve feedback from those using the supersprint headers as they are really hard to find in the US). How is the quality and durability of the XERD headers? Does anyone have before & after comparison dyno charts? Do you lose a lot of low end torque with either headers? From what I hear (and what I have reasearched) these headers really boost power in the top part of the powerband. Thanks!
I am also interested in a set of Long Tubes. As far as I know only XERD and Supersprint have had them on the market. 350EVO was supposed to make a set but they got out of the 350 market.
I think BJ at 350EVO had the XERD headers then switched to Crawford and made more power or torque, I can't remember exactly.

I just contacted Supersprint and spoke to a rep. Apparently they will be offering long tube headers, no price is available yet tho. And they are only for 2005 and newer Zs... LAME. :/ I didn't know Nissan made any kind of changes that would make headers for the 05 not fit on an 03 Z. Any thoughts?

there's my dyno sheet with all my mods. next step is some kind of piggyback...IMO the headers helped out alot, but gave me alot of rasp because of the cat-deletes, but i dont mind it so much anymore...you get used to it

As a rule of thumb, a runner length of 36" would be optimal for N/A applications. Ideally a nice collector like the Burns stainless collectors should be used to maximize the powerband.
