Default Nismo intake and exhaust intallation

Just got new katana KR-5 rims put on around cristmas time along with 20% tint on my silver 05 Z. Everything about this car is amazing and I love it more and more all the time. Anyways i just ordered the Nismo intake and exhaust today and can not wait for them to get here. I am just wondering, i think the intall for the exhaust woudl be a pretty easy bolt on as long as i could get under there and stuff but if the CAI easy to put on or with no automotive expereince really should i just take it somewhere and have them do it?

Thanks

Intake will be easier than exhaust.

Everything is easy if you have the right tools and a mechanical incline.

make sure you spray WD/40 all over the factory exhaust bolts the night before....you'll need four jack stands to raise the Z. The installation is pretty straight forward.... good luck.

The exhaust is easier than apple pie.

Just squirt some wd40 on the bushings and pull.
Literaly took my 20 min to swap it out.
I cant believe that they charge 1.5 hours to do it.

I would assume the intake to be more problematic as you gotta take the front bumper off.

Instead of WD-40 on the bushing/hangers, use silicone spray, like that cheap "Tire Wet" stuff; makes 'em slicker 'n snot.

Default Not the front bumper

you need to take off the DS front tire and the plastic wall, because the filter for the CAI goes all the way down into a little space between the bumper and the wheel well lining. good luck
