Default Difference between test pipes and a dual catback

I am pretty lost on the subject. If someone wouldnt mind filling me in on the difference i would greatly appreciate it.

Test pipes replace the catalytic converters. These are BEFORE the exhaust. A catback exhaust will replace everything after the cats, this includes the y-pipe and mufflers. They are 2 diffrent parts.

Test pipe connect from your header to the exhaust system

you will get the most gains from high flow cats or test pipes if your on a budget!

You won't pass smog without cats. But our cars are new, we don't have to smog for 6yrs. or if you sell it. Just be sure and keep your stock cats, so when smog time does come, you can put them back on.
