Will adding high flow cats to my Nismo exhaust and headers increase noise?

 

I don't know about Nismo, but the Kinetix HFC I put on the car definately made my Borla TD cat-back louder.

 

Any mod which allows more air into the engine or more air out of the engine will increase exhaust noise. Its just common sense.

My freind had a g35 sedan with test pipes ( don't ask why ) but man that thing got some snot off the line and it sure was more raspy, but Damn he was slowly going braindead from the exhaust fumes! LOL

 

YES. More noise and more smoke coming out of your exhaust. Go for it.

Kinetix HF cats on mine. Definetly noisy, espeically under heavy acceleration.

 

crawfords here...and yes they sound great...but not too loud

 

Yes, adding high flow cats to the nismo will increase the sound. Although it's not a bad increase, it makes the exhaust sound more throaty, and deep.... more aggresive. Andy has the crawfords along with his nismo exhaust, and it sounds excellent

Yeah I had the crawford HFC and a Nismo exhaust and I loved the sound it was EXCELLENT!

I have the crawford HFC combined with the borla, it def made the car louder
